Fit Friday is baaaaaaack and this time I am taking it a little easier. One of my clients asked me for some resistance band workout ideas, and I like trying something different so I bought myself a set of resistance bands.

I got mine from Sports Direct, they are by USA Pro and cost around £6.00 for a set of 3. Your gym probably has some or you can easily pick them up from Amazon too.

I haven’t really used resistance bands for a few years because my training has been focused on weights and fat loss, but not EVERYone is ready for weights.

So, here it is – a full body resistance band workout. 

I’m set up in the gym using a squat rack to anchor my band, but you could use a dining table, the bannister of your stairs or even a tree in your garden!

Complete each movement for 12 – 15 repetitions, focusing on your form. Make sure you keep your back straight and core in tight as you work through each repetition.

Then repeat each movement for a total of 3 rounds, taking 45 – 60 seconds rest between each set.

For this I used an intermediate band, check the resistance of the bands before buying!
