Break your Bias: Protein Powders

I don’t think you are fearful of protein or even protein powders, but I do believe you are holding onto some bias about what will happen to your body if you add more protein to your diet.

Protein does not have some kind of magical power, it won’t burn fat or speed up your metabolism [that’s another blog for another day].

Protein WILL keep you feeling full, help to stabilise your energy throughout the day and this will help to reduce cravings.

These are the three factors you must be considering with regards to your diet if you are trying to lose fat:

  • Manage Hunger
  • Maintain/Increase Energy
  • Reduce Cravings

So, whilst protein isn’t magical it IS an important part of your diet, and really a non-negotiable when it comes to fat loss.

I was first introduced to protein powders in 2012, and have spent five years trying various flavours, just this morning I tried ‘Glazed Doughnut’, and I always have them available as a grab n go snack or as an ‘add in’ to baking.

I recently placed a big order with The Protein Pick and Mix and in the below video I am sharing with you exactly what I ordered, why and how I will use them.

If you want to place an order I have a discount code which will give you 10% off your order, and I receive some handy points to go towards my next big haul!

Enjoy the video – and be sure to give the video a thumbs up!
